About Dr. Barre Lando
Dr. Barre Paul Lando brings 38 years of medical practice, research and teaching experience in mainstream and alternative medicine to his role as founder and formulator for Mattole Valley Naturals. Dr. Barre likes to describe his creations, as a “living process”, there was no definitive genesis-point, and they will never be “done”. The times, resources and people’s perceived requirements are in constant flux, and any system of health improvement must keep pace in real time.
The evolutionary tree of “Doc’s Blends” took first root during his athletic career in the 60’s and 70’s. His training circles included the best athletes of the day: professionals, Olympians and martial art practitioners. His passion is conceiving out-of-the-box training techniques, and drugless biochemical manipulation.
Dr. Barre’s penchant for cross-training led to certifications in both conventional and traditional medical disciplines. His eclectic background proved to be the driving force for a very international practice specializing in difficult cases. The blends were borne from the real needs of athletes, and people seeking to aid themselves against the increased stresses of today’s world. The transition of creating products for personal to clients to creating an entire company is what Dr. Barre feels is his way of honoring the true pioneers of integrative medicine.
